Islamabad: The Capital Development Authority (CDA), through a notification in a publication on Friday, invited interested parties to apply to be a consultant for the Islamabad Master Plan that is being developed for the period between 2020 and 2040.

The authority’s notice invited experienced and result-oriented international firms, joint ventures and consortiums to submit their bids through a single-stage, two-envelope bidding process.
The complete details of the hiring process can be obtained from the RFP document that is available at the websites of both the CDA and the Public Procurement Regulatory Authority (PPRA). The document can also be obtained from the office of the CDA Director Master Planning.

The prospective bidders have been asked to submit their expression of interests in the form of bids within 45 days of the publishing of the notice (October 2) — with the last date to make submissions notified as November 16 (by 12:00 Noon). As per the information available, the technical bids will be opened the same day in the office of the CDA Director Master Planning at 2:30 PM.
