Islamabad: The Capital Development Authority (CDA) is fully prepared to meet any emergency in the capital during monsoon season, according to a news report. A senior representative from the CDA has mentioned that although there is no apparent flood risk in the capital, the CDA has prepared itself to face any emergencies.
The officials have been ordered to ensure timely removal of any stagnant water in the city and issue warnings to people situated in the low-lying areas. The senior official has highlighted that people living in slums of F-6, F-7/4, G-8/1, G-7/3, G-7/2, and G-7/1 would be warned in a timely manner and all illegal structures along drains would be removed with prior warnings.
