A CDA Board meeting was held under the chairmanship of Mohammad Anwarul Haq in which approval was granted. The meeting also decided that the CDA’s relevant department will compile a comprehensive booklet within the next eight weeks. This booklet will encompass approved building plans tailored to various plot sizes, making it easier for citizens to embark on their construction projects. Additionally, the board has initiated efforts to revive a commission responsible for revising the city’s master plan.

In another significant move, the CDA board has instructed the authority to approach the federal government to establish a dedicated commission for the revision of the master plan. The master plan, initially drafted in 1960, mandates revisions every two decades. However, no substantial updates have occurred thus far, with only sporadic alterations made by successive governments.
