Previously, another notice was released in this regard on July 17, claiming that the ballot will be held on August 20, yet the authority has now informed that the balloting is temporarily postponed.

Moreover, the balloting was initially postponed because the authority found over 200 files of plots missing from its records. The balloting is being conducted to allot alternate plots in place of those eliminated in the layout plan revision of Sector I-12 last year. The plan of the said sector was revised due to a nullah and some uneven land. This said sector was reserved for land affectees whose land or built-up properties were acquired by the CDA.
