Islamabad – From 5th march, 2014 the Capital Development Authority will start plantation drive in the capital with the collaboration of NGOs and other organizations.
During the campaign, around 600,000 saplings will be planted. In this regard, an official from the CDA has said that a major role is played by shrubs and trees in protecting environment and refining urban landscape.
He also said that the Capital Development Authority is applying all the possible resources to strengthen the status of the capital city – Islamabad. He requested the residents of Islamabad to provide reasonable backing in this cause.
