The capital Development Authority (CDA) plans to launch two new residential sectors, from which the authority is expected to generate a revenue of Rs. 11 billion.
“Unless two new residential segments are opened, it would get difficult for the civic body to meet the financial targets of coming year”, said a senior CDA official. “C-15 and C-16 are the two new sectors that we plan to open before 30th June, 2014”, he added.
Civic body announced these two residential sectors about five years ago but for various reasons the progress could not be made. CDA is expected to compensate the affected people as per the land-sharing formula.
