Islamabad: Chairman of the Capital Development Authority (CDA) Muhammad Ali Randhawa conducted site visits to advance industrialisation, enhance recreational areas, and preserve the beauty of Islamabad, as reported on July 29.

As per details, at the Industrial Triangle Kahota, Chairman Randhawa stressed the need for cutting-edge development and facilities for industrialists. He called for the eradication of exploitation and the provision of specialised facilities for the IT and telecom sectors. He urged allottees of industrial plots to establish their industries without delay.
During his visit to the Diplomatic Enclave, Chairman Randhawa reviewed ongoing uplift projects and directed that landscaping be done under a unified theme to preserve its aesthetic appeal. He also called for the swift completion of minor construction and repair work.
At the Jinnah Convention Centre, Randhawa inspected renovation efforts and instructed an expansion of the main hall’s seating area to accommodate world-class events. He also emphasized the importance of completing landscaping in the adjacent green spaces.
In Ankara Park, Randhawa called for enhancements to landscaping, the beautification of Rawal Dam Interchange walls, and the display of international flags. At Lakeview Park, he directed improvements to walkways and requested a comprehensive plan for the park’s ongoing maintenance and beautification.

Furthermore, the CDA announced a new initiative to invite diplomats from various countries to participate in the Margalla Hills Plantation Campaign. This initiative, guided by Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi’s instructions, aims to strengthen the bond between nations and nature.
