Islamabad: The Capital Development Authority (CDA) has planned to build Park Enclave Heights, a 10,000-unit housing project in Park Enclave Islamabad, news sources reported on January 10. The project will be completed in two phases, with 6,000 flats built in the first phase and 4,000 apartments completed in the second.

According to sources, the scheme will be launched in February of this year for overseas Pakistanis, who will be able to book their flat through Roshan Digital Account (RDA) in foreign currency, while SBP will pay this sum to CDA in rupees. The project is also anticipated to create USD 1.6 billion in foreign exchange reserves and is expected to take three years to complete.
Reportedly, the project’s approval will be requested from the cabinet after the approval of Project Concept-1 (PC-1) from the Central Development Working Party (CDWP). Furthermore, it was highlighted that the CDA subsidiary Islamabad Development Fund Limited (IDFL), which is registered with the Security Exchange Corporation Pakistan (SECP), will complete the project.

Furthermore, a Board of Directors has been formed to better manage and oversee the project, which includes CDA Chairman Amir Ali Ahmed, Member Finance Rana Shakeel Asghar, Member State Management Naveed Elahi, Member Admin Amir Hassan, and well-known private-sector architects Nayyar Ali Dada and Iftikhar Arif.
