Islamabad: Capital Development Authority (CDA) Chairman Mohammad Ali Randhawa, along with Interior Minister Mohsin Ali Naqvi and NESPAK officials, instructed the acceleration of underpass construction at Serena Chowk and Srinagar Highway in Islamabad, as reported by a news source on May 22.

According to the plan, one underpass is being constructed at Serena Chowk and the other one on Srinagar highway for the convenience of the citizens of Islamabad. Mohsin Naqvi directed to keep the height of the underpass up to the maximum and tasked the CDA chairman and Islamabad chief commissioner to personally look after the project for its on-time completion.

Additionally, Chairman Randhawa set a strict deadline for completing the Park Road project by June 15, stressing safety measures and continuous construction efforts. Randhawa also directed the timely completion of bus depots and extended subsidies for the Islamabad Bus Service project, reflecting a commitment to enhancing infrastructure and public services in the capital.
