Islamabad: Capital Development Authority (CDA) Member Finance Rana Shakeel Asghar and One Link Chief Operating Officer (COO) Najeeb Agrawalla have signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) on behalf of their organisations to enable utility payments through a mobile phone application, according to a news report published on October 27.

The MoU signing ceremony with One Link was held at CDA headquarters. To this effect, Asghar said that the app would become operational within a week to enable online deposits of property transfers and water and sanitation charges.

Moreover, Najeeb Agrawalla revealed that CDA customers will be offered mobile and ATM banking services. Member Estate Naveed Illahi stated that the new system would allow both the CDA and the citizens of Islamabad to access a complete record of payments and that will make the whole process transparent.
