This new system will benefit a total of 20,000 property sales, purchases, and transfers that occur in the CDA each year. Speaking on the occasion, NADRA Chairman Tariq Malik stated that the digital solution provided by NADRA has the capacity to biometrically verify citizens and their family members to meet the challenges faced by any organization. This, in addition to the current affidavit system, provides an additional layer of protection against fraud, while also improving the internal workings of the CDA.
