Islamabad: The Capital Development Authority (CDA) has decided to transition all its payments to a cashless digital system, ensuring greater transparency and efficiency in financial transactions.
The decision was made during the fourth CDA Board meeting, chaired by Chairman Muhammad Ali Randhawa, where board members approved shifting all payments to digital platforms. The initiative aims to streamline financial processes and eliminate risks associated with manual cash handling.

So far, payments for 165 services at the One Window Operation have already been digitized, while water tanker charges and Islamabad Water accounts now support QR code-based payments. The digital transition will soon extend to fines from the Directorates of Municipal Administration (DMA), Environment, and Enforcement.
Additionally, the board approved the SAP double-entry accounting system to enhance financial management. CDA officials have been directed to compile a complete record of the authority’s assets by the end of the fiscal year and prepare a corporate-style financial report outlining achievements and targets.
