Islamabad: Capital Development Authority (CDA) Chairman Amer Ali Ahmed recently received briefing on the status of the development work underway in various sectors of the capital city, a news source reported. Further, the meeting members discussed the construction of an interchange (the project’s PC-1 has remained pending for approval for the last several years) at the 7th Avenue situated near Aabpara.

According to CDA spokesperson Syed Safdar Ali, the chairman directed the officials concerned to complete Sector I-12’s PC-1 within a time frame of three weeks. Completion of the PC-1 will allow the authority commence with the development work in I-12, he added.

Further, the meeting members were told that that pre-qualification advertisements for I-15 had already been publicised through print media. Other projects the meeting member were provided update on included:
- Progress on the development work at G-7 and G-8 underpass
- Widening of service roads in G-7 and G-8
- PC-1 for the construction of interchanges at Kashmir Highway, 7th, 10th. 11th and 12 Avenue; the proposals were forwarded to the Capital Development Working Party (DWA) for its approval
