Islamabad: The Capital Development Authority (CDA) accomplished a noteworthy financial feat on the initial day of its three-day auction, securing the highest offers of PKR 7.96 billion for four commercial plots on Wednesday, as reported by a news source on January 11.

According to the details, the CDA’s auction committee presented eleven commercial plots at various locations, garnering responses for four plots. Among these, two were situated in Markaz I-8, with one plot each in Blue Area and I-14 Markaz.
After the first day’s proceedings, the auction committee achieved the highest bid of PKR 4.53 billion for plot number 9, Sector G-8 in Blue Area. This 2666.66 square yards plot received an impressive bid of PKR 1.7 million per square yard.
Another plot, measuring 800 square yards in I-8 Markaz, obtained the highest bid of PKR 1.825 million, ultimately auctioned for PKR 1.46 billion. Additionally, a 666.66 square yards plot in I-8 Markaz was auctioned at PKR 1.725 million per square yard, resulting in a total price of PKR 1.49 billion.

A commercial plot spanning 533.33 square yards in I-14 Markaz was auctioned at Rs1.22 million per square yard, realizing a total price of PKR 0.653 billion. The CDA plans to present 24 commercial plots for auction at prime locations over the next two days.
