As per CDA sources, the meeting on Friday was scheduled to discuss 18 projects and development-related agenda items, including summaries such as amendments to zoning regulations and proposed bylaws for agro farms. Due to the shortage of time, the meeting was slated for continuation on Monday (November 14) to discuss the ICT Zoning Regulations 1992 regarding Zone-III of Islamabad. The CDA is expected to allow regulation of Zone-III for the construction of houses on green land, but the policy directions are still not clear on the type of construction. The CDA sources reported that the members of the board are of the view to not allow housing projects by larger developers but only the locals for small houses in the Zone-III land.
