CDA, Capital Development Authority, has made a very astonishing decision recently to open 10 new sectors in the Federal Capital of Pakistan. According to news, the plan has been made without considering its financial resources, since it has not yet developed five sectors which were opened 5 years ago. It has not even handed over plots or land money to the owners.
The expected sectors which would open include C13, 14, 15, 16, D13, F13, I 13, I7 and H16. Sources claim that the sectors have been decided to open on the condition of land sharing but partners would also be given the choice to receive their share according to the rate of the market.
Few people who could influence the opening of the 10 new sectors have been bribed by the CDA. It has also asked others to remain silent, since it would be not favourable for its new master plan. It has also told others to remain silent by telling them that it is currently not in a position to clear their all dues due to financial crises. The owners who are entitled to receive plot or land money for the schemes opened five years ago are demanding their payments before CDA proceeds to start its new master plan. They are also asking CDA to give them one developed plot against four kanal land according to the land sharing formula.
