Islamabad: The Capital Development Authority (CDA) has invited sealed bids for the construction of South Blue Area’s service road (from 9th Avenue to F-10 roundabout), according to a news report published on August 29.

Only firms licensed by the Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC), having valid registration certificate in Category C-3, and above with specialisation project codes CE-01 & CE-02, can send in their bids. The forms can be obtained with a PKR 5,000 fee from the office of Deputy Director Roads-II, located at the Old Naval Headquarter, Sector G-6 of the capital by September 15.
Moreover, the bids will be received until 11:30 AM on September 16 and will be opened at 12-noon. The NIT cost of the project has been estimated at PKR 243,912,368, while the earnest money amount has been fixed at PKR 4,878,000.

Furthermore, the earnest money will have to be deposited in favour of Deputy Director Roads-II from a local scheduled bank of Pakistan and must be attached with the application. If no call deposit is submitted with the bid, the tender will not be entertained and the cash/cheque will not be accepted either.
