Islamabad: The Capital Development Authority (CDA) management has directed to accelerate development work in four sectors of the capital city, states a news source on October 12.

According to the details, the sectors include E-12, I-12, C-15, and C-16 – which had been facing significant delays. Chairing the meeting to assess the progress of these sectors, CDA Chairman Anwarul Haq expressed concern over the slow pace of development work and directed the engineering wing to promptly address hurdles and expedite the entire process.
Emphasizing the importance of timely development, Chairman Haq stated that no delays in these sectors’ development will be tolerated. Additionally, he highlighted the increasing demand for housing units in Islamabad and stressed that the CDA must provide developed plots to enable people to construct homes.

Chairman Haq has scheduled another meeting to delve into the sector-specific issues in detail and propose effective solutions. He has also directed the engineering and estate wings to conduct comprehensive research and present well-thought-out proposals to overcome the obstacles hindering development in these crucial sectors.
