Islamabad: The Capital Development Authority (CDA) has installed permanent pickets at Margalla Hills, Saidpur, Shah Allah Ditta Village, Chontra, and Bari Imam in a bid to protect these sites from encroachers, according to a news report published on February 27.

Moreover, over 10 teams have been formed to prevent encroachments and illegal constructions on state lands. These teams will submit their reports to CDA’s administration on a regular basis. Based on these reports, CDA will take legal action against encroachments and illegal construction and confiscate the construction materials.

In a related development, CDA Chairman Amer Ali Ahmed has asked the officials concerned to resume work on the stalled Ladies Club project at G-10 Markaz that will offer effective health and recreational facilities to citizens.
Reportedly, the structure of Ladies Club at G-10 is 100% complete and the covered area of the building is 97,000 square feet.
