Islamabad: The Capital Development Authority (CDA) plans to establish a Water and Sanitation Agency (WASA) in Islamabad to enhance existing infrastructure as reported by the news source on 14 May.

The project aims to improve water supply, sewerage, and drainage facilities. It involves rehabilitating and expanding current systems, constructing and upgrading water treatment plants, and enhancing drainage. Technical support will be provided by AFD, a French development agency.
