Islamabad: The Capital Development Authority (CDA) recently announced its plan to continue its drive to develop improved infrastructural facilities in the Model Urban Shelter Project, Farash Town — a news source reported.

In this regard, the CDA has issued the tenders for the rehabilitation of the roads in the project. Work will be started after the bidding process has been completed. Aside from improving the road infrastructure, street lights will also be installed and a sewerage system among other missing facilities will be provided as well.

Farash Town was developed on the outskirts of the capital for the use of the katchi abadi dwellers of Muslim Colony, Haq Bahu, Dhoke Najju, and Essa Nagri.
A comprehensive plan for the improvement of infrastructure at the society has already been approved. IN addition, a PC-I worth PKR.844.33 million was also prepared and was presented at the 46th meeting of the CDA’s Development Working Party held in January this year.
