The authorities are currently conducting the drive in various parts of the city, and are actively removing different types of barriers found to be obstructing the pathways. These areas include Main Nazimud Din Road, Blue Area, GT Road, Main Margalla Road, and other important avenues. The obstructions identified include such objects as guard cabins, iron grills, entry gates, and electricity generators. These encroachments either block the right-of-ways, or are installed beyond their legal plot limits.
The Enforcement Directorate, Roads Directorate, ICTA, Islamabad police, CDA’s Building Control Section, and other formations have been actively attending the drive.

The CDA has also decided to establish three different committees for surveying the buildings in the city within a month’s timeframe. The committees will identify structures involved in violations of building codes, so that that authorities concerned are able to regulate them.
