Islamabad: The Punjab Overseas Pakistanis Commission (POPC), in collaboration with the Islamabad Capital Territory (ICT) and Capital Development Authority (CDA), on Tuesday announced their decision to set up dedicated desks for overseas Pakistanis at CDA and ICT offices, a news source reported.

This decision was made during a joint meeting between the two government bodies and a visiting delegation of the POPC, which comprised of POPC vice chairman, director general and legal director.

During the visit, the delegation received a briefing on various issues that overseas Pakistanis face when they visit ICT and CDA offices. After the briefing, the POPC, ICT and CDA agreed to set up dedicated desks within a month in order to attend to the problems of overseas Pakistanis. The ICT and CDA are expected to appoint dedicated officials for this purpose soon.
