Islamabad: The Capital Development Authority (CDA), the Islamabad Capital Territory Administration (ICTA), and the Metropolitan Corporation Islamabad (MCI) have been issued a number of coronavirus prevention directives for immediate implementation in capital city by the government, a news source reported. According to details, the civic bodies, among other concerns, have been tasked to clean the major roads and busy areas in the city with chemical reagents.

To this effect, the ICTA has secured the chemical reagents required for cleaning a factory in Attock. After the input from the Ministry of Health, all departments tasked with the job would begin the washing drive from tomorrow onwards.

Both the CDA management and the ICTA have requested the citizens to cooperate with the authorities concerned for controlling the spread of the novel coronavirus in the capital city. They have further asked the public to stay at home and avoid unnecessary movements around the city – in wake of the instructions issued by the government in this regard.
