Islamabad: The Capital Development Authority (CDA) and Islamabad Capital Administration (ICT) has launched an operation to remove any security apparatus and generators blocking public pathways, according to the news sources.
Upon receiving these directives, the Enforcement Directorate of the CDA, Building Control Section (BCS), Electrical and Mechanical Division and ICT Administration officials disconnected the power cables of numerous generators. They also dismantled all guard posts situated beyond the plot locale in Sector F-6.

Under this operation to remove blockages in the public pathway, the department teams also removed security cabins and confiscated other materials. Furthermore, the residents of the capital are instructed through an official notification that they are to remove any such apparatus form state land, and move it to their allotted plot space. In case of non-compliance, these generators and apparatuses will be confiscated by the government, and fines will be imposed.

The Enforcement Directorate, with the assistance of ICT Admin, also executed the anti-encroachment operation in Sector I-14, and demolished several illegal structures in the vicinity of the Hajj Complex.
