The said session discussed all the pressing issues faced by both the industries. The representatives of builders and developer association presented their concerns and mulled over various solutions. The authority responded to these issues by highlighting that the Design Vetting Committee (DVC) is meeting on a regular basis to approve the building designs. The officials said it has timely concluded all its obligations with the investors whose legal requirements were met with.
Moreover, the meeting was also informed that another auction of commercial plots – with special incentives – is going to be held later in September by the CDA. Officials revealed that they are establishing a separate new directorate to provide speedy solution to the prevailing issues pestering the business community.
Finally, both sides reaffirmed their resolve to positively contribute towards the prime minister’s scheme for housing and the construction industry.
