Islamabad: The Capital Development Authority (CDA) has evacuated 11 sites allocated for parks in various sectors of the city – and has transferred them to the Environment Wing of the Municipal Corporation of Islamabad (MCI) for development and preservation purposes.
The action was authorized on reports that some of the sites allocated for parks were under illegal ownership, due to illicit constructions and the territories being encroached upon by the lawn and garden formations built by adjacent dwellers.
