According to a Friday notification, all directorates must adopt the e-office system by September 2. This move is intended to improve efficiency, streamline operations, and transition towards a paperless working environment.
The e-office system is designed to centralise core operations and improve transparency within the CDA by allowing file movements and timelines to be monitored through a dashboard. This system is anticipated to reduce delays and enhance the overall effectiveness of administrative processes.
The CDA is also preparing to offer its services online. Member Technology Nauman Khalid noted that a test run for the “My Islamabad” app is currently underway, with a full launch expected soon. The app will provide citizens with access to services from 64 CDA directorates, including property taxes, water charges, and various certificates. It will also enable users to file complaints and pay fees online.
