Islamabad: The Capital Development Authority (CDA) has forwarded the PC-1 forms for six projects to the Ministry of Interior for funding approval, a news source reported. As per the publication, the schemes include the development of Blue Area (G-9/F-9) and five interchanges on various roads and avenues in the capital city.

According to details, these projects will be executed under the government’s Public Sector Development Programme (PSDP). Their PC-1s were completed on the directive of the government. The projects are considered essential for future traffic concerns in the capital city.

The estimated budget for the six megaprojects is listed below:
- PKR 1484.924 million for an interchange at the 11th Avenue Intersection of Kashmir Highway
- PKR 1484.924 million for an interchange at the 12th Avenue Intersection of Kashmir Highway
- PKR 11,000 million for building 10th Avenue including an underpass and an interchange
- PKR 2653.302 million – Intersection of 9th Avenue with IJP Road
- PKR 1924.312 million – grade-separated facility on Kashmir Highway at the 7th Avenue intersection
- PKR 612.252 million for the development and construction work at Blue Area G-9/F9
These interchanges will help connect the southern and northern sides of the capital city.
