The CDA Enforcement Directorate headed the operation and demolished a structure that had been constructed on the said tract; with other concerned authority formations also playing in their part in the reclamation effort.
The authority had decided to launch the drive after receiving reports that a local contractor of a parking plot – allotted by the Municipal Administration Directorate (MCI) – had taken to extending the construction beyond the approved plot lines and onto the land owned by the CDA. In response, the enforcement directorate had proceeded to take action promptly; demolishing the shed and two under-construction rooms during the process.

Meanwhile, the CDA Building Control Directorate also conducted an anti-encroachment operation in the Mulpur locale where it demolished a building. Additionally, the enforcement directorate removed several shops selling construction materials in Markaz G-8 along with confiscating their wares.
