He asked the concerned authorities and CDA’s Engineering Wing to connect all these bus services to make an interconnected public transport system for the city. He also issued instructions for the procurement of electronic buses to run on the city’s new and old metro bus routes. The buses will be procured on a government-to-government (G2G) basis. It was also decided in the meeting that students and people above the age of 60 years will be given a 50% discount if they travel on these buses, while children below 10 years of age will be provided free travel facilities.
