Islamabad: Capital Development Authority (CDA) Chairman Captian (retired) Muhammad Usman Younis has issued instructions for all relevant departments to ensure the provision of a healthy environment for the citizens – which includes the development of parks in the capital, according to a press release issued on October 26.

As per the press release issued by CDA, the authority’s environment wing has decided to develop a ladies’ park in Sector I-14/1. Under the same initiative, another park will be developed in Sector F-10/4 will be developed to secure a health-improving environment for citizens, especially kids.

It was announced that both parks will feature swings for children, walkways, jogging tracks, cycling tracks and other salient amenities. Moreover, seasonal flowering plants of various species will also be planted in the parks to further rejuvenate the visitors. In another development, CDA Chairman Younis has also issued instructions, under which, the environment wing has finalised its plan for the development of jogging tack and box culvert on the green belt of Sector F-8/3.
