Islamabad: The Capital Development Authority (CDA) Chairman of Islamabad, Chaudhary Muhammad Ali Randhawa, is significantly improving the city’s water supply infrastructure, as reported by the news source on May 20.

The CDA’s Water Supply Wing has been bolstered to ensure a continuous water flow, especially during the summer. Key measures include rapid repairs of damaged tube wells within 24 hours, maintaining high operational readiness of water tankers, tube wells, and filtration plants, and conducting monthly water quality tests with PCRWR laboratories.

Additionally, twelve new water filtration plants will be installed in various sectors. A dedicated helpline (03357775444) has been established for the prompt resolution of complaints within 24 hours. The CDA also encourages residents to use water responsibly to support sustainable water management. These initiatives aim to ensure a reliable and clean water supply for all residents, demonstrating the CDA’s commitment to public welfare and infrastructure development.
