Islamabad: The Capital Development Authority (CDA)’s Building Control Directorate has shared statistics on revenue earned during the month of March in terms of issuance of NOC, completion certificates, approvals of building plans, commercialization charges on addition of new floors and imposition of penalty charges on non-confirming use of property, a news source reported.

The development authority collected PKR 18 million in March. Out of this amount, PKR 13.1 million were earned by the CDA Building Control Directorate Section II against issuance of eight completion certificates and sanction of five NOCs pertaining to building plan approvals.
The share of Building Control Directorate I stood at PKR 1.98 million where it issued 14 completion certificates and several NOCs for building plans approvals and fee applicable on commercial use of space.

The Building Control Directorate III issued 11 completion certificates in March, 60 NOC sanction approvals for respective building plans, and collected fine on non-confirming use of property. Its contribution to the revenue stood at PKR 3.69 million.
