Islamabad: The Capital Development Authority (CDA) Design Vetting Committee (DVC) has approved the building designs of nine commercial structures to be erected in various parts of the city, according to news sources.

The approved commercial buildings are all set to be developed in private housing schemes and the constructions work is expected to launch promptly.
As per the official statement issued on Saturday, the CDA held its DVC meeting following the government’s relief package for the construction sector, stating that ‘the decision is taken in accordance with the policy of the federal government for lifting up the construction industry which will eventually generate economic development as well as address the issue of unemployment’.

CDA officials have revealed that these projects were greenlighted to generate employment opportunities and to cater the growing population’s requirements.
