Islamabad: In an official statement, the Capital Development Authority (CDA) has revealed that Special Assistant to the Prime Minister (PM) on CDA Ali Nawaz Awan recently directed the civic agency to address the concerns faced by the real estate builders operating in Islamabad, according to a news source.

The statement also mentioned that during their meeting with Awan, the builders shared their concerns pertaining to the approval of lay-out plans submitted for under-construction commercial projects. During this meeting, the special assistant to the PM assured the builders and developers that their issues would be resolved in accordance with the due process.

After this meeting, Awan directed the CDA’s Planning Wing to clear the ambiguities in approved layout plans within a time frame of one week. For this purpose, the builders will be required to submit the terms and conditions of allotment provided by their respective housing schemes. In response, the Planning Wing will analyse these documents to grant its approvals.
