Islamabad: Capital Development Authority (CDA) Chairman Muhammad Usman Younis asked authorities to expedite work in Sector E-12 to offer early possession of plots to the owners, news sources reported on December 16.

To provide possession to the plot allottees as soon as possible, the chairman has directed the CDA Engineering Wing to use their professional skills to speed up the work and to keep him informed on a daily basis.
The chairman has directed the concerned authorities to address the long-due concerns of the citizens without any further delays. The CDA Engineering Wing has been asked to make sure that the development work is carried out in an efficient and effective manner. Chairman Younis also emphasised that the authority should make sure that the development process is completed in a timely manner.

It is important to note that CDA had launched an area development project for various blocks and zones of the city. In this regard, it has issued work orders for the development work in Sectors I-12, 15 and E-11 and 12. However, delays in the work progress have been observed owing to various administrative and financial reasons.
