Islamabad: The Capital Development Authority (CDA) has declared 26 private real estate developments illegal, according to a news source. These projects are spread over different zones of the capital city.
In addition to declaring these projects illegal, the CDA has also tagged marketing campaigns for illegal developments as illegitimate. The civic body has warned the public against investing in unapproved real estate developments.
According to a CDA official from the Building Control Section (BCS) and Housing Department, property buyers must confirm the legal status of a private real estate development from the BCS before making an investment decision.
In this regard, the information on unapproved and illegal real estate developments can also be checked on the official CDA website.
