Reportedly, the premier visited the project’s construction site and was given a detailed briefing on the ongoing development work. The premier said that the project is completely doable in the given time frame. He also announced an award for CDA Chairman Amer Ali Ahmad for the expedited completion of the project. As per Project Concept-1 (PC-1), the Bhara Kahu bypass is a 7.8-kilometre-long infrastructure part of the Margalla Road project. It is designed to provide an alternative route for those travelling toward Murree, Galyat, and Kashmir. The proposed bypass will start from the Malpur area and culminate near Satra Meel on Murree Road. The bypass project is one of the main road infrastructure projects launched by the federal government to manage traffic in the city.
