The CDA’s wing in charge of handling cases of landowners whose land is acquired by the civic authority and who are entitled to alternate plots has faced multiple inquiries for bogus allotment cases a few years ago. Presently, these cases are being scrutinized by the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA).
As per a CDA official from the information technology wing, the authority has decided to transfer all the cases of said wing and the estate management wing will be entertained through the NRTC system. Through this, all plot files will be traceable and will be accessible by all CDA officers. The applicants will be able to get their status of files checked through a tracking number.

Moreover, the official assured that the chances of bogus and fake allotments will be drastically reduced if this system is implemented successfully. The CDA also issued a notification to this effect and stated that all cases of people whose land has been acquired by the authority will be shifted to NRTC and regular updates about the progress of each case will be uploaded. From here onwards, no new or existing file is to be moved without entry into the NRTC system.
