In the first two days of the operation, Building Control Directorate I & II (as per their instructions) have conducted operations in their respective domains and sealed as many as 64 commercial buildings. The operation is being executed by the four teams constituted for the same purpose and the Assistant Commissioners (ACs) of the respective locales.
The drive is especially targeting the structures in the city that have been de-sealed without first getting official permission from the authorities concerned.

Building Control Directorate-I has sealed six under-construction buildings in the locale of Bani Gala, Zone-IV, and sub Zone-B; 12 building in Sector H-13; and 16 commercial buildings in Zone-V for various Zoning Regulations’ violations.
Correspondingly, Building Control Directorate-II conducted a similar operation and sealed buildings in the D-7, E-16, and B-17 sectors for building bylaws’ violations.
The CDA is conducting this operation all across its territorial limits to curtail haphazard constructions established on the outskirts of Islamabad — particularly in the private housing schemes.
