Islamabad: The Capital Development Authority (CDA) has initiated asphalt work on the Bhara Kahu bypass project with the aim to complete the work completed by the next month, according to news published in the leading newspaper on January 23.

The news source mentioned that the asphalt work of Malpur Interchange and starting point of the road has been initiated. The CDA officials (whose names were not disclosed) mentioned that the said road project will be completed by the end of next month.

Reportedly, the work on the elevated portion of the Bhara Kahu Bypass project is also in progress. The authority is working on the project round the clock and every effort is being made to complete the project as soon as possible. The officials mentioned that the elevated portion of the project will take more time due to the engineering requirements. The said portion is expected to be completed by mid-March.
Who says its bypass to bhara kou? Its right in the middle of bhara kou and leads through bhara kou. Its so unfortunate on part of planners and those who approve.
