CDA Chairman Noorul Amin Mengal chaired a meeting held at the CDA headquarters. During the meeting, the attendees discussed the shrinking parking spaces and the increased need for parking plazas in the city. The CDA officials (whose names were not disclosed) mentioned that the CDA chairman was briefed on the planned plazas besides the one under construction in Blue Area near Savour Foods.
In the meeting, an engineering member proposed that the authority should start construction of at least two parking plazas to address the parking woes. The news source shared that the CDA chairman directed the engineering wing to work on five plazas instead of two. As per the details, the parking plazas will be constructed in Karachi Company (G-9) and Blue Area in G-9, F-10, F-8, and I-8 Markaz. He ordered that the work on the parking plazas must be started as soon as possible.
