Islamabad: The Capital Development Authority (CDA) has decided to start the construction work on 7.8-kilometre long Bhara Kahu Bypass to eradicate traffic congestion, according to a news story published on Monday (March 14).

As per the details, the authority has placed a sign on the project site to announce that the Frontier Works Organisation (FWO) will execute the construction work. The project details will be shared by the agency soon. Special Assistant to the Prime Minister on Capital Development Authority (CDA) Affairs Ali Nawaz Awan stated that the Bhara Kahu Bypass project is vital to resolve the traffic problems of the commuters, especially on the main Bhara Kahu Road.

It is important to mention that as per the statement issued by the CDA previously, it was informed that the bypass will be part of Margalla Road. It will start from Quaid-e-Azam University and pass-through state land to be connected with Murree Road near Satra Meel.
