Islamabad: The Capital Development Authority (CDA) is looking to regulate high-rise buildings along major abutting roads by limiting them to just five storeys, according to a news source. A Member Planning stated that the organisation was looking to limit high-rise buildings to ground plus five storeys along major roads like GT Road and Islamabad Expressway.
He also added that regulations were being made for existing high-rise buildings in the capital. The measures being taken are to keep the existing utility systems from being overburdened and create a problem in the city.
