Islamabad: The staff of the Capital Development Authority (CDA) conducted operations against encroachments in various areas of Islamabad, according to a news report. During the operation, an illegal shop and house was demolished in Sector G-8/1, the construction activity in a bakery was stopped in F-6 Markaz, and illegally set up shelters were removed in Sector F-7. In Rawalpindi, as well, an illegally constructed wall and gates were razed near Satellite Town.
During the operation, fruit-sellers were also cleared from the area near Mandi Mor and materials on two trucks were confiscated, so were two excavator machines carrying out excavation work in G-8 and G-9 without CDA’s permission.
