Islamabad: The Capital Development Authority (CDA) has announced conducting an internal performance review of its various departments before the end of FY2019-20 to check such concerns as services delivery and funds generation, a news source reported.

According to details, the authority’s Building Control Directorate-II which regulates and deal with private housing schemes in the federal capital, generated PKR 320.3 million during this fiscal year. The amount was generated through approval fees for building plans and completion certificates for private housing societies.
According to the amended CDA by-laws, private residential projects are legally bound to have their building plans and completion certificates approved by the CDA. The authority has approved a total of 1,314 building plans in the current fiscal year including 1,301 for residential projects and 13 for commercial projects.

Moreover, the performance review will help the authority further improve its functions and services in the future.
