Islamabad: The Capital Development Authority (CDA) of Islamabad has completed the ballot process for almost all the plots offered in its Park Enclave III housing scheme, according to a news source report on September 25.

The Park Enclave III ballot was conducted through a specially-designed software in collaboration with the National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA). The ballot involved 1,047 plots out of a total 1,061 plots demarcated in this phase. As for the plot measurements; 271 plots were sized at 25×50 sq ft, 546 plots were sized at 35×70 sq ft, 103 plots were sized at 40×80 sq ft, and 64 plots were sized at 50×90 sq ft. According to reports, some 1,744 applications were received for these plots.

Moreover, it was reported that PKR 13 billion had been raised after the Park Enclave III ballot. Special Assistant to the Prime Minister on CDA Affairs Ali Nawaz Awan attended the balloting ceremony and expressed satisfaction over the proceedings and the revenue generated from a recent auction of commercial plots conducted by the authority. He also stated that the development work on the project would be launched later this year.
Following its development phase, an auction of the commercial plots in the Park Enclave II will be held. The authority has already communicated its intention to start work on the physical infrastructure and electrification/gas supplies simultaneously.
