Islamabad: The Capital Development Authority (CDA) on Tuesday announced that it had completed the balloting process for 437 deleted plots in Sector I-12, a news source reported. According to the details revealed, the revised layout plan of a nullah and some uneven land resulted in deletion of the plots. However, the revision also created a similar number of new plots to accommodate the owners.

Sources stated that Sector I-12 was reserved as compensation for land affectees who provided land or built-up properties to CDA from time to time. The civic agency conducted a transparent ballot for allotting 437 plots in lieu of deleted or double-allotted plots in the sector.
During the ballot, the plots of identical nature and in same sub-sectors on a certain size of road were allotted within the same sub-sector and same size of road. Similarly, a corner plot was allotted against a deleted corner plot.

The plot owners extended their appreciation to the CDA for resolving the long-standing issue of deleted plots in Sector I-12 in a transparent manner.
