Islamabad: The Capital Development Authority (CDA) on Sunday completed four – out of 11 – inquiries pertaining to various violations committed against the stipulations of the Islamabad Master Plan, according to news sources.

In January, the civic authority – upon directives of the Supreme Court – launched eleven inquiries; all pertaining to the violations in the Islamabad Master Plan. According to the spokesperson of the CDA, the respective committees have completed the first set of four inquiries.
Furthermore, the CDA has also finalised processing deadlines of applications related to services regarding residential and commercial properties. These services include the issuance of no-objection certification (NOCs) and lease extensions, among others.

CDA Chairman Amer Ali Ahmad revealed that applications submitted through the agency’s one-window operation are to be resolved in a maximum timeframe of fortnight. However, applications related to the cases of the affectees of various sectors will be resolved in a 28-day period.
